Jeff and Ariadne - Our Family. Sunday, October 2, 2011. Where are my babies? We had Emma and Lucas doctor's appointment, here are the stats. Ht: 102 cm (97%). Wt: 37 lb (80%). Ht: 83 cm (75%). Wt: 28 lb (75%). They both were great! This was the first time that Emma understood where she was going and had lots of questions about it. It is so fun, refreshing, and sometimes a little puzzling to see how her mind works. The doctor asked about Lucas' speech. How many word do you think he can say?

Thursday, April 5, 2012. I like to get the kids out at least once a day for a walk, or wagon ride, or just to sit in the grass. The twins these days are especially loving playing in the grass. Really they just like to crawl around and look for things to eat - grass, acorns, dirt, mulch, sticks. Because all of that stuff is so yummy, you know! So all I do is chase them around and pry their little "snacks" out of their mouths. As you can see, Annie is the trouble maker when it comes to outdoor snacks!

Monday, February 13, 2012. We got a necklace and scarf and then Arden decided we needed a crown and tu-tu - the girl loves her princesses, what can I say? So we made a snowman princess, minus the real tu-tu. Arden really wanted to bring out one of her real tu-tu's but I told her we could make one out of snow instead. Once we were done I asked her what we should name the snowman. Me: Arden what is your snowman's name? Me: Hmmm, how about Princess Erica? Arden: No Mommy, Princess Eric. Each Day is a Gift.

And that was before we even got outside in the snow. The snow made it even worse. By the end of our outdoor outing she did manage to get better at walking in the snow with the new snow boots. We ended up getting a year membership and have been several times now. I'm also thinking this will come in handy when Arden needs a break from the house with two screaming babies! She is in love with Curious George these days! Rumor has it that we will also be celebrating at Nana's house while we are visiting (we leave on Saturday) - so this girl gets a months worth of partying! Let's see, at 2 she can:. Run like a wild child. Sort of "read" books like Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Big Green Monster.

Wednesday, August 25, 2010. We headed down to Annapolis this past weekend to visit David's aunt and uncle - Stephanie and Bill. When we first moved to Philly they lived only 20 minutes from us - they were here temporarily for a job until their new house in Annapolis was complete. It was so nice to have them close by!
