In search of my next adventure. Just a few hours later, I got a call! I had decided not to go around telling everyone I know about my decision to join the PC until I had an official nomination. Then, earlier this week, one of my friends posted something (very brief) on my Facebook wall asking if I had heard. Of course, I’ve now gotten messages from about 5 friends asking about it. Oh well. I don’t have anything super fancy, but its a pretty expensive luxury for someone on a non-profit salary and I don’t know that it is worthwhile. In search of my next adventure. December 2nd, 2010 – submit both the application. December 3rd, 2010 –. Unbeknownst to me, recruiter mails me paperwork). December 6th, 2010 – get email from NY Regional office informing me paperwork is in the mail, and that we can schedule an interview after I’ve submitted it. December 8th, 2010 – receive paperwork (background check and fingerprinting info). December 10th, 2010 – mail paperwork back. January 3rd, 2011 – Interview online. 8211; Received medical packet.

Well, there isn’t much backtracking to do. I got home from work today (worked a half day, I’ve been very sick w/the flu and took the last 2 days off) and checked my email, and there it was. I’m nominated to do NGO Development in Sub-Saharan Africa leaving in early June. Don’t worry, I’m mostly excited 🙂. Just a few hours later, I got a call!

Keeping up with the Larsen's
Keeping up with the Larsen's. 10 month photo shoot. As you can see Owen LOVES to tackle Sarah. And Sarah just loves to run away. We tried :) As Kaleb likes to say, "ya get what ya get, and ya don't throw a fit". Now that they are almost 7 :). I know it's been said many times before, but I'll say it again, time goes by too fast! Crazy that they are already six months old! Owen weighed in at 14 lbs 3.5 oz. and 24 inches long. Sarah barley beat him at 14 lbs. 7.5 oz and 24 1/4 inches long. Contractions....

Jeff and Erin's Blog. Friday, July 20, 2012. Everything since the last post. So this is what we have been doing since we last posted. I took Ginger skiing for the first time on Christmas eve. We all went to get tacos after. Erin didn't ski because she was quite preggos (9 months and 1 week along). Erin had the baby 2 days later in our bedroom. He was 8 lbs and 2oz. His name is Miles Corban Johnson. Grandma Johnson with Miles. Ginger and her cousin Lily went skiing together. We went to Disney World in May.
