Monday, July 6, 2015. Grandpa and his jazz quartet played at the Prescott courthouse square a couple of weeks ago. Nate and I went while the others were at church activities. It was SO much fun and the music was awesome of course :) I LOVE listening to my dad play! Ivy and her friends made themselves up like animals. Scary! Mom texted me this picture while they were away on an anniversary trip. I LOVE it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. This week for dinner.

Sunday, April 19, 2015. The fifth graders at Basis take karate for PE and a sensei from a local dojo comes to the school to teach them. Hyde is really enjoying it and wanted me to take him to the dojo so he could be tested on his katas (do I sound like I know what I'm talking about? Anyhow, he joined in on a class of kids older than he was and a couple of the senseis spent a good amount of time helping him out. He didn't pass them off but he got a lot of good tips! Crazy kids on the ride home. We thought...

Wednesday, July 8, 2015. We actually went on an overnight date for our anniversary! We hired an 18-year old girl from our ward to babysit and we hit the road! Stayed the night in Scottsdale. After settling in we went searching for dinner and ended up at the "Humble Pie" which was actually delicious! When we got home the kids were alive and happy and the babysitter still talks to us! On the kid-free drive! In the hotel elevator! Got to our room- two twin beds. Not what we had in mind :).

Friday, November 28, 2014. Phoenix Temple Cultural Celebration (all in one big long post)! Last July, my Bishop called and asked if I would be the ward chairman for the upcoming Phoenix Temple Cultural Celebration. The cultural celebration is a relatively new event always in conjunction with a new LDS Temple. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. I got a fancy camera for Christmas that I've used on "auto" ever since I got it! I've wanted to learn how to use it better so when I heard that the local college had a photography class for beginners with DSLR cameras I jumped on it and signed up! Two Wednesdays for 3 hours each day. After the first class last week I came home and took these pics of my 2 little guys. I had my last class today and learned so much more today. There is so much to know! View my complete profile.

http://eastcoastbosleys.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 25, 2015. For Ivy's birthday (coming the end of this month) I arranged some horse-riding lessons with a teenage girl, Bailey, in our ward. Ivy had her first lesson two Saturday's ago and was beyond thrilled! She was lucky enough to have another one yesterday where she reported that she was able to ride all by herself (meaning Bailey didn't hold on to Ivy's horse with a rope) and she even trotted! The horse Ivy rides is names Hopie and she is in love! Ivy and Brother Anderson. I'm excited ...

http://eastcoastbosleys.blogspot.com/2015/07/st-george-trip-part-2.html
Friday, July 10, 2015. St george trip (part 2). Lots of swimming happened the next day! We also enjoyed the fitness room and raquetball courts. The kids got a lot of use out of the mini-golf, ping-pong, pool table, and games. SO. MUCH. FUN! That afternoon Bart, Marie, Andrea, Andrew, and I went to the St. George Temple. The parents did sealings and Andrea did baptisms. It was so wonderful to be at the Temple with some of my favorite people! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
