Friday, June 27, 2014. Nowbefore anyone goes and thinks I'm having some sort of crisis, I'm not. This is actually supposed to be a happy post, a celebratory post of sorts, because I'm writing this to remember that I am no longer a part-time mom. My wish was granted, I quit my job, and now I am a full-time, stay-at-home, mom. Obviously, I eventually took that "leap of faith" and did quit my job, and it really wasn't as terrifying as I imagined. Well, maybe a little. Rachael and Jeff Downs. Sake, you know.

Saturday, September 13, 2014. The novel that is {ALASKA}. If you don't have time to sit for a while, you might want to skip this post. Though I realize my trip to Alaska was only three months ago, (and even saying it was ONLY three months ago, I know it hasn't been very long) when I look through these pictures I feel as if they were taken in another lifetime. I have missed it from the day we left. I loved everything about Alaska! I'm going back. Someday. Who's in? The next morning was embarkation day!

Monday, December 30, 2013. Better late than never! Christmas was a whirlwind in the best way possible. I feel like the excitement builds, and builds, and builds. And then.it's over in an instant. We didn't end up taking the boys to BassPro again, but thankfully they got to see Santa on Christmas Eve at the D'Amico family Christmas party. It went exceedingly better than previous years. The boys surprised us by not waking up until 8am! Buzz Lightyear was the biggest hit (as well as their IKEA kitchen.).

Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Olivia's Blessing Day: May 24th, 2015. I love all these pictures, but I was a little scatterbrained that day. If I would've. Been thinking correctly I could've. Had a group picture taken, of everybody. But alas, I wasn't that smart. It also didn't help that half our group had to leave before sacrament meeting was over, so they weren't able to be there for pictures. Also, had I been thinking at all. We could've taken another picture at the dinner when we all reconvened.gaaaah!

Jeff and Penny Peterson's Family. Four Corners National Monument. Tuesday, July 1, 2008. Four Corners National Monument. Us at Four Corners National Monument. we are all standing in different states! Then down to Salt Lake/Provo to visit with the Kano's and other friends and family. Our last stop was Las Vegas to spend some time with old friends there. We left Jake and Jensen to stay with their friends for an additional week. Overall - it was great to get back home. but a wonderful trip.

Sunday, March 12, 2017. Sundays are little more hectic these days, church being at 8am, plus every few weeks I have to do it by myself while Jeff has to work. But since we're all in our Sunday best, I use it as an excuse to take a picture of our family every week, and I enjoy looking back at all the pictures I've taken over the years. These two pictures are from when I had to take the kids to church by myself for two weeks, once when Jeff had work, and the other was when he was sick. She IS almost 2.
