I just love the Layer Cake skirt and have made quite a few of them. They are so cute, easy to make, and easy to customize, whether it is for a 2 year-old, a 6 year-old, or even a teenager. I liked the A-line jumper so much that I made a shorter version as a top and I made some shorts with a pattern from a previous two-piece outfit. I am very pleased with how this one turned out. I will try to make some more soon and post some sample pictures. These make great gifts because a mom can never have too many! When I had Caroline, I received about 30 burp cloths as gifts. Sew What's Going On? Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Have you met Jo-Ann? I realized last year that I could make some things for much less than I could buy them. I love Hobby Lobby and I shop at Hancock's occasionally. For a small store (as compared to the square footage of the other stores), this Jo-Ann store really packs in a punch.
