Monday, June 18, 2007. I still need help in posting pics, but here is my latest try. The first two pics should be at the end. I am adding sheet metal to the roof. This is a dedication service for the completion of the pastors house. The erecting of the structure takes about 8 hours from beginning to end. This is a pastors house that was torn down the day before we arrived. The floor is somewhat still intact. Holes are dug about five feet deep, and a concrete rebar footer is placed to support the structure.

Friday, January 26, 2007. Last week I had the privledge of traveling to Guatemala to. Provide medical care in underserved areas. Here are a few of. The Dentist Dr. Herfel and Jen Several team members. A Cuban doctor I met Two kids I gave shots. She fell and broke her arm. We fixed it. Kids love to color. I put a IV into this little girl after multiple trys. I man was. Carried for five miles for care. There was nothing we could do. How will you feel about it? What have you done with the gift of life?

Thursday, December 27, 2007. This year we hosted Christmas with my side of the family at our house in North Carolina. Craig, Tonya, Chris, Nancy, and the kids came from Cincinnati to spend it with us. It went by way too fast, but we had lots of fun. Anyone who has ever played Pit knows what a fast paced, spoon-grabbing blast it is with family. :). Tearing into our presents! Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Phil Vernon. Phil and Dana were united in marriage on Sat. October 27. It was a beautiful wedding. Rehearsal dinner Friday evening. The bride with her "ladies in green" (loved it Brenda) :). Vickie, Brenda, Dana, Jana and me. Dana with her parents (my in-laws). My favorite thing at the reception- the chocolate fountain. We went to Cincinnati for the weekend just to visit with family and get our pictures taken by Brenda. At the famous IKEA store - Caleb with the fruits of the spirit hat (inside joke) just for you Nancy :). Craig and Tonya also ate with us. For Nancy, 7 random things about myself. 1 I have three great brothers, two older,. 2 I have always wanted a sister, and God has blessed me with 6 wonderful sister-in-laws. :). 3 I was born in Mexico when my parents were missonaries there. 4 Cooking is not my thing. I don't mind cooking, it's just not on my list of favorite things to do. 5 I love to iron, something about seeing the wrinkles come out of clothes. 6 My pet peeves are people who exaggerate and bad drivers.

Friday, September 12, 2008. A couple of weeks ago we joined Chris, Nancy, and the kids for a few days on their vacation at Topsail Island, NC. We had a blast with them and made lots of memories. This is the house Chris rented which was only a short walk from the beach. This is the view from the back of the house. I love watching and listening to the waves. Thursday, July 10, 2008. Congratulations to Josh and Charity. Congratulations to Josh and Charity on their engagement! This post is long overdue but we are so happy that Charity is going to be part of the family soon. Out at Red Lobster with them, one of our favorite restaurants. I can just about taste those cheddar biscuits. Yum! We were glad to have Craig, Tonya, Chris, Nancy, and the kids come down to celebrate Josh's graduation in May. These are pictures from the cookout at Oak Hollow Lake.
