If you like urban fantasy, this seems to hit all of the bases: supernatural murders, hot vampires, learning combat skills, lots of flirting and sexual tension. If you usually like urban fantasy, chances are you might like this. My bias towards/against this book. I did graduate work at Chicago, and ever since reading.
