As most of you know, I was unable to complete Ironman. At the time, especially during the bike portion of the race, my frustration levels were very high. However now that I have had time to reflect, I now know I can complete an Ironman and my resolve has become only stronger from this event. See Race Details below slides. I will be back!

Canadian Ironman 2007 summary. Thank you to all my friends and family who supported me, especially the ones who came up to see me compete (Vivian, Mom, Dad, Michele and Bret). Seeing you guys on the course made it very special. Finally, a very special thanks goes to my fiance Vivian; living with someone training for an Ironman is tough already, but she did it while completing her CGA. What a tough gal! Well another year goes by and a new and improved Ironman story to tell. I don't have pictures up yet but they should come shortly. But first here are my results:. 38 km Swim: 1:06:06. Overall with transitions: 11:00:46. Once again I picked it up in the hills and pushed my upper limits on the downhill sections. Coming into transition I was pumped since I knew I would finish with a 5 and half hour bike which is almost 20 minutes faster than my previous best.
