Random thoughts from someone who’s catching up. It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to write on this blog. I’ve meant to for a while now and even began a post a week or so ago. Just never finished, or began. One or the other. The last month or so has been pretty steady. We were able to work on some interesting projects and meet some pretty cool cats. I introduce ‘Rasta’. I threw together a quick little set with some wood flooring and foam core and in about 20 minutes I was photographing him. My studio manager was already working in the studio that morning so I had her take some behind the scenes photo’s and video on top of all the other crazy work she was doing. The art of commerce and conversation. I was recently commissioned to photograph the painter Ray Turner at his studio in Pasadena. If you have yet to see his work, please do. It’s beautiful. I had an amazing time with him and it reminded me of the many reasons that I love being a photographer. Be warned, I do have a point with this post.
