As Inspired: Why I Support Tax Reform
http://jbradhickman.blogspot.com/2008/02/why-i-support-tax-reform.html
PLEASE VISIT jbradhickman.com FOR THE NEWLY REDESIGNED SITE. Sunday, February 24, 2008. Why I Support Tax Reform. I found this little anecdote on the web today (compliments of Wise Bread). It makes a solid point. Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:. The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing. The fifth would pay $1. The sixth would pay $3. The seventh would pay $7.

The Bauman Beat: Friday Foto Fun - Swing!
http://nashvillebaumans.blogspot.com/2013/04/friday-foto-fun-swing.html
Friday, April 5, 2013. Friday Foto Fun - Swing! Last weekend, Shanna's dad and I built a playset for the kids in our backyard. It was a playground kit, so it was nice not having to worry about measuring and cutting to the right specs. There were a number of directions, so it took all day (and I still have a couple items to attach once I get missing pieces from the manufacturer today - slide attachment and rope ladder). Life with the Emerts. Saturday, November 10, 2007. Our Trip to "The City". After we got off the plane and checked into our hotel, we headed straight for the city.no time to waste. Our first stop was Pier 39 and the Fisherman's Wharf district. And then got coffee and ate donuts- one of our many indulgences on this trip. Tired from our travels, we headed back to the hotel, and made our plans for the upcoming days. We finally made it to Lombard. And then hopped back on the trolly and rode down to the pier t...

Just Add Salsa: Don't worry...help is on the way
http://justaddsalsa.blogspot.com/2008/09/dont-worryhelp-is-on-way.html
Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Don't worry.help is on the way. About Boone Pickens' recent hard times. Yes, you read it correctly - his hedge funds are down about $1 billion, and approximately 25% of that amount is his own personal wealth. Interestingly enough, this was largely due to rapid declines in energy prices. You see, his funds were heavily exposed to energy stocks, and when oil prices fell, he got hurt. Wednesday, September 10, 2008. I'm sure both of you are wondering why it's been so long since I've penned fresh words of brilliance. Well, the short answer is.um."present."
