In 2001 Jeffrey brought in his newly formed backing band, The Symptoms into the studio. The result was "Almost.all the way.down" released by Soda Pop Records in 2003. As an artist I seek to better understand and share my slice of reality with others in hopes that we may all be moved by the transformational power of art. I grew up playing with my Uncle Don's Nikon 35mm film camera and scribbling on his expensive art paper. When I was twelve, he matted and framed two photos I took of orchids and water lilies from the Chicago Botanic Garden. I knew I had made it big seeing my photos on display in the makeshift hallway art gallery of our two-flat apartment.
