There are so many rich things to digest in John 4, but one of my favorites is the ending of the story. The Samaritan woman goes back to her village and says to the people in verse 29-30, "'Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah? They came out of town and made their way toward him.". Everything she ever did? When you look at people can you see them as the wheat field?

Wowwhat beautiful scenery. In Haiti the scenery was beautiful as we came in over the country and then we saw up close what it was really like.such poverty. You climbed that mountain? We stopped at a posh resort on Lake Malawi for lunch, then took a scenic road over the mountains culminating with a fantastic sunset. What is on fire in the 3rd picture? This must have been a nice way to wind down after all the other things you had seen there. It sounds like you had an amazing trip! They burn fields to clear them for farming.

One of the Y-Malawi partners is AEM, with a ministry that reaches out to village chiefs. PCNP provided funding for Chichewa Bibles for the chiefs and village heads, the last of which were presented while we were there. So they adopt them out to people in other countries? Really makes you think. Some go back to their original families.
