Jerusalem's Urban Animal Life. Jerusalem has too many people, too many cars, too many diesel fumes, too much pollution, and way too much noise, but in spite of all that, living among us are all manner of animals and plants that are easily overlooked. I am starting to photograph whatever I can find with my digital camera and telescope, and am slowly learning how to do it. Here is what I have so far:. Falcons (Eurasian Hobbies) in Talbiye. There are a few kinds of chiles available in Israel, including a long green hot chile, but I really missed the taste of jalapeños, and decided to try to grow some on my balcony. Geoff Mendelson, a friend of mine, gave me some seedlings and I repotted them. July 26, 2005. August 8, 2005. August 19, 2005. September 8, 2005. And finally bore beautiful fruit. September 22, 2005. September 26, 2005. And with great excitement, I finally tasted one!

Jeff and Steph McFadden. Monday, December 6, 2010. It's been sooo long! Now that school's almost out, I'm set on being a better blogger. So much has been going on recently. I'm finishing up my 4th semester of school and am almost done! Jeff is working hard at Wallabys and it is making excellent progress. I've already started buying little things here and there for the nursery and clothes for the baby. It's just too much fun to wait any longer! Our little puppies, Twinkie and Foster, are getting so big!
