A Rolling Stone: October 2007
http://arollingstone.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 19, 2007. In front of a distant cross stands a mosque. Jessica and i had just crossed the old bridge when a short man sweeping the sidewalk asked us if we were hungry. we said we were, and as quickly as he could he unlocked his restuaurant/house and sat us down at a table. The menu was fairly extensive, but he approached us saying, "do you like chicken? It was more of a statement than a question and in 10 minutes he served us his house specialty. while we ate he told us his story. When yo...

A Rolling Stone: June 2008
http://arollingstone.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 2, 2008. Here i am again, about to leave town and wander around somewhere. at least this time i have a job, and perhaps with my extra years i will get some writing done at my new locale, the portmagee youth hostel. I should be there for the summer months working for a youth hostel doing hostel-y stuff. so if anybody wants to stay with me i might be able to get you a hostel room for a discount, so quit thinking so much and just come out here, i'd love to see you. http://arollingstone.blogspot.com/2008/01/ghost-riders-in-sky.html
Wednesday, January 9, 2008. Ghost riders in the sky. The old flag was tattered, and once a month (whether it needs it or not) a new flag must be hung in its place. Now, let me state that while we do have cows we don’t have a lot, compared to a typical texas ranch, probably about 20. 8216;bruh,’ samwise posited. The herd had moved eerily close to our locat...

Pilgrim Pathways: Notes for a Diaspora People. Popular Posts and Series. Can a Christian Be a Patriot? Can a Christian be a patriot? In one sense, the answer is obviously “yes.” If we mean, “Are there Christians who are patriots? But if we mean, “Can a Christian be a patriot. While faithfully following Jesus?
