Friday, July 31, 2015. Our last weekend in Iowa was Heritage Days, my hometown's carnival. It was fun to be around and participate in it. The first night brought more fireworks. Declan spent a lot of time loving on "Rip" during the show. And he has asked for Rip almost every day since. Instead of running to us. Apparently she is ready to be rid of us completely. :). Friday, June 5, 2015. Another trip to the Singapore zoo. Koalas are a new addition (perhaps temporary? It's unclear to me.) so there is koala stuff everywhere. Waiting for the Splash show to start. And this is where the fun began. No wonder Tatum has been dying to go to the zoo with dad. He brings the fun. :). Monday, April 21, 2014. We had a wonderful Easter season filled with lots of festivities, including about a bazillion egg hunts. :) It all began last Saturday with an egg hunt at Hy-Vee. Sunday, August 2, 2015. Part 2: lots of walking. I'm sure mom would think 'lots of walking' would be a fitting title for the entire trip. :) But I would say that is especially so over these few days. Friday was a public holiday so Brennan had the day off. Since last time we went to MacRitchie we didn't end up making it to the tree top walk he didn't want to miss this excursion. Monday, March 31, 2014. Declan at 4 months. Somehow babyhood goes even faster the second time around. How is our little guy already so old? Don't ask me, but since he is almost 5 months old I thought I better hurry and do his 4 month update. :). Weight: 16 lbs 8 oz. ( 73rd percentile). Length: 26 inches ( 85th percentile). Head circumference: 45 cm ( 97th percentile). He has a pretty cute sad face. I know I'm biased, but oh my heck is he cute or what? So handsome. Who says dressing a boy isn't fun?
