People – Camera Angle. People-give ’em some room. Light Speed and Time Travel. Planes Trains and Automobiles. Went to the Wisconsin state capital building this last weekend. It was the first time for me. Wow, what a beautiful building! For this photo I was using a 300mm lens on a camera with a DX sensor giving me an effective focal length of 450mm. Even with this, the image has been cropped to about 1/3 the frame width. North American Common Loon. Some assorted sunsets…. When it rains…. Gone to the birds.

Thursday, August 14, 2014. Two months ago Jody and I moved to the small town of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Since then, we have done our best to dive right in, embracing all that God has for us here.
