The life and times of Miss Madeleine Ruth. Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Mommy didn't get a computer for her birthday. Daddy says he's still "researching". He did promise her that she would have one by this weekend though. Right now I have to use this old computer Daddy had from his previous job. It's an apple orchard, but Mommy and Daddy decided I was too young to go picking yet. So we rode on a hay ride, I saw some animals, and we ate cider donuts. Here are the pictures:. She gave me some medicine which helped a bit, but I still wasn't feeling all that well the next day so she and Daddy took me to the pediatrician. Monday, December 03, 2007. I meant to update this sooner, but well. I didn't. Anyway, I lost 1.2 pounds over Thanksgiving! Not my ultimate goal of 2 pounds, but hey any weight loss over Thanksgiving is good enough for me. I have another weight in tomorrow. We'll see how it goes, I haven't been able to get much exercise in this week. I'm still a little plump in the middle post-baby, although i haven't seen a scale since they forced me on one at my post-partum ob appt (totally cruel). Well read the blog!

Saturday, November 24, 2007. I've joined Weight Watchers. I managed to lose all 30 pounds from my pregnancy with no trouble. I was already back to prepregnancy weight by my 6 week postpartum check up. It's easy to do when you have a fussy baby and no time to eat or sit down. Monday, December 10, 2007. Madeleine finally likes her sling. I think it's because she can sit up in it unlike before where she had to be in a cradle-like position (never a favorite of hers). So when she gets fussy I just slip her in there and do things around the house. Only bad thing is she won't let me sit down with it. What a cute little bundle!
