LOOKING FOR JELLOSLUGS ARCADE? Pictures of my SHO when I picked it up. Not too bad from this angle. The paint is shot though, it has been repainted on the drivers side and the paint is flaking off the plastic parts. Not the cleanest engine bay. What you cant see is the oil in the plug wells, the who-knows how old rear plugs, the unhooked secondarys, and the bad CID. Words cannot describe the funk that was in this car when I got it. There is not enough carpet shampoo in the world for this car.

New Interior

The Mercury Sable has many different interior parts that will swap over. Here is the drivers side door panel. Here is the drivers side with the door shut. The panel “flows” with that dash very well. The Sable drivers door has a window button light. The wiring is already there in the Taurus door so it just plug right in. Here is the rear Sable door panel. They are only slight different than the Taurus panels. Here is a Sable rear package tray with the rear hear rests.

The new black interior is finished! The carpet on the console actually matches much better in real life. Much better that the shape it was in when I got it. Heres a shot from the passenger side. 2nd gen stereo equipment and console with a Probe GT EQ in a custom panel. I never liked the LCD clock so I put in a 93-95 2nd gen one in a custom panel. I had the usual problems with the sunroof switch so I swapped in an power window switch. (Note: The pic was taken before I changed the headliner).

Heated Mirror conversion

Start by removing the mirror from the car. Remove the 3 nuts and pull the wiring through the hole in the door. Next remove the glass assembly from the mirror housing. It just pulls out. Now is a good time to completely disassemble the mirror. The painted cover pops off (it glued on) and then you can access the 3 large screws that hold the motor frame in. You should now have the mirror out. Remove the pivot screws and place the mirror in an oven, face up, at 250 F for 20 minutes. As you an see the. Run th...

Here is the car the day I got it. The paint was flaking off the drivers side ground effects and it had obviously been repainted in places. Here is the drivers side with the cladding off. And the passenger side. I was very happy to see no rust damage under the cladding. The only rust on the whole car was a few spots on the roof where the weatherstripping had rubbed through the paint.
