Val has her say. Monday, October 29, 2007. Just to prove I'm in Hawaii. This was taken at a beachside restaurant where Dad and I had lunch today. Life is good. I spent the morning at the zoo, and went back again after lunch. Even though it was Sunday, there were no crowds to contend with - everyone's at the beach. I saw flamingos for the first time since a trip to Florida in the 1950s. Such a beautiful color. The galapagos tortoises were awesome. This one was quite lively, and HUGE. Not drowning, waving.

Many people do have a fabric addiction - and I am the first to admit that I just adore fabric - but when all your fabric is brought out of the tubs and cupboards and you can see how much there really is - it is very overwhelming! I made it through somehow! Every day from here on is a gift! Monday, September 20, 2010. My blood sugar gets out of whack when I do so much walking. If I lived in a big city- my diabetes would be under control! I love the city. There are so many things to do, places to see, great food, great shopping. It is fun, but certainly not cheap! The Four Bears in the Woods. Tuesday, August 29, 2006. The Month of August. Our anniversary was the 12th, we have been married 24 years! I can't beleive that time has passed that fast! I still love Papa Bear as much or even more than I did the day I married him. We didn't do much but later than night we went with our friends to the county fair, the kids had a blast.
