Fantasy and reality often overlap– Walt Disney. A younger version of me made a list of thirty things to accomplish before turning 30. Yesterday I learned that I had matched into a pediatrics program, and that #27 on my list will actually be a reality. I will be doing what I absolutely love, taking care of children, as a career. And it all starts with the next three years. What a blessing! Thank you to everyone who has gotten me here. Match Week 2014 is finally here! Here are my favorites:. I MUST WATCH IT.

After spending a few days in Framingham to visit the Lee family, and a few days on a family ski vacation to Sunday River in Maine, we are back in Providence while 2014 is fresh! I was also able to finally eat some fresh and decadent sushi at a place called Oga (thanks Chris’ dad! 20: a Baked Potato stuffed with cheddar.

Go Big or Go Home. It’s been exactly 100 days since I’ve left the US. Now I find myself just a few hours away from leaving the place where I’ve called home for the past 100 days. It’s a bittersweet feeling but at the same time I’m excited to return back to the US. It’ll be fun reuniting with familiar faces and of course seeing the girlfriend =). Need to recharge, like whoa. Must go home to recalibrate life. I’m lucky to have the friends I have. They are truly amazing, caring people, and I’m so glad to have them in my life.
