Saturday, September 25, 2010. I can't believe we have an 8 year old! What a special weekend we had. Ashley has been looking forward to this for some time. She was so excited, yet nervous at the same time. First came the bishop's interview. She was very nervous about meeting with him. She said for one of the questions, he asked her who the prophet was and she said, "I knew mom, but I just forgot! I was so nervous that I just couldn't remember.I asked him, 'Could I still be baptized? Ashley and another lit...

Happy Little Trefethens: October 2009

Saturday, October 31, 2009. Ashley's Pumpkin Fun Run. Ashley's school does a fundraiser run every year on Halloween. The kids run laps and this year, they got marked off on their shirt each time they went a lap. She did a fabulous job! Zack wanted to run so badly with her that he went ahead and ran a few with her. He'll be excited when he gets to do it next year! Showing off her marked stars! Halloween was a lot of fun! So of course they would have to compliment her too. It was pretty funny. Ashley wore ...

Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Another art show for the family.but not daddy's! Ashley was so excited that her art work was chosen as the "best of the best" from her school. It is on display this week at the her school District's Art Show at the town hall. She was thrilled that she got to be in her own art show just like daddy does! Her work is considered mixed media as it has paint and colored pencils. We thought it was absolutely wonderful and very beautiful! What a little artist! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Phil, Diana, Peyton, Noah, Lily: September 2010
http://philanddiana.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Phil, Diana, Peyton, Noah, Lily. Wednesday, September 1, 2010. We took our annual trip to California in August. We headed down with my family and Phil's siblings. We stopped in Las Vegas for the night. The boys had blast jumping back and forth on the beds. They never get to do this at home, so they thought it was pretty fun. No, Noah didnt get beat up. This is him after waking up, with one of his all too common bloody noses. He gets bloody noses all the time! I don't know what to do to prevent them.

Happy Little Trefethens: September 2009
http://happylittletrefethens.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Zack really loved soccer this last fall. So much so, that we enrolled him in this upcoming spring as well. He enjoyed being active and trying to chase that ball. Josh and I loved it how every time he would kick the ball good, or make a goal, he would look over at us with his "proud face." It was really cute. He gave himself the nickname of "speedboy.". Wednesday, September 16, 2009. First Days of School. I am super behind on my blog.but working to get it up to date! And takin...

http://happylittletrefethens.blogspot.com/2010/09/frisco-best-in-show.html
Friday, September 3, 2010. Frisco "Best in Show". Last Spring, Josh won "Best in Show" at the Frisco art festival. As part of his prize, he got to display a dozen pieces at the Frisco town hall for the month of September. They had a very nice catered reception where they honored Josh and another artist who got "Juror's choice." It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed meeting those there that night. Thursday, September 30, 2010. The BIG, unforgettable first day of school. This story is so long overdue and is quite the funny one. We have been so excited for the first day of school. Zack was starting kindergarten and Ashley was all set with her "cool 2nd grade clothes." Zack was a little nervous, but very excited at the same time. Josh and I were anxious to make sure everything would go smoothly for Zack on his first day so that he would transition fine. Well. Looking back now, I can only laugh at wha...

Sunday, November 9, 2008. Partying with the Mia Maids. For activity on Wednesday, the Mia Maids and I decided to have a surprise birthday party for the YW 1st counselor. We asked her husband about her favorite colors and cake and such. A couple of the girls came over at 6 and helped me to decorate. This is Dominique (just an inch taller than me) trying to hang the streamers on the ceiling- Cassidy helped keep her up. We had so much fun decorating! We're just a bunch of kids ourselves. Happy Halloween to ...
