Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Yay for new computers! It'll be much more exciting when I get internet at home, but for now I'm hanging out in a hotel in Nebraska, so I'm using their wifi and I was determined to post something on this stupid blog :). These aren't all of them (the Hawk Zoo will come later), just the ones that were easy to post and didn't require much editing because I'm still getting the hang of the commands on this laptop. Sunday, November 13, 2011. American Kestrel - Montrose 11/13/11. This post could also be called "Fun with Editing Software". Just so you know. I chased this poor Kestrel all over Montrose today. The pictures are in reverse chronological order and also go from when I was closest to when I was furthest away, although you can't always tell because of all the cropping and zooming I did on the photos. Sorry if some of them are grainy. It was not a sunny day. Although this one's kind of nifty too!

Sunday, October 30, 2011. Birding Montrose 10/29 and 10/30. So I ended up going out to the hedge again today to see if the Sage Thrasher was still there. It was just starting to rain and the wind was blowing, but when I walked up, someone called me over to their car and pointed to the tree that it was in. So what did I manage to do? Allen, Gavin, myself and my mother, younger sisters, older sister and twin nephews all took a train ride to a local pumpkin patch this weekend. It was a fantastic time!
