Between work and the 3rd trimester insanity, I couldn't find enough time to keep this blog up. I was reading blogs as often as I could, but just didn't have it in me to update. I'm just a gay lady who was lucky enough to get pregnant - here's my story. Wednesday, December 10, 2008. We had an u/s yesterday. It was awesome. Mr. Shanahan was really active - swinging his arms above his head and squirming all around - it was really amazing. Everything is looking so great we've decided to go public with our news at work. The boy was sitting cross legged, so it was hard to get a clear shot of the junk. We've got our 20 week appointment in a few weeks so maybe we'll get a better view then. Sunday, January 4, 2009. A place to watch our princess grow. Monday, August 8, 2011. Update for the Summer. This is what our grass looks like now. I can't believe that the cactus is here! The weather here is ridiculous. We have had CRAZY heat! Breaking all kinds of records. You must wear shoes outside now. The grass is so hard and crunchy that it hurts your bare feet! I included this, so you could see what our grass used to look like. :-(. Also, we survived VBS! Who knew my daughter was so artistic! She is wearing 5T clothes!

Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Israel Days 1 and 2 continued. After spending our first morning in Meggido we headed to Nazareth. This little fenced in area contains the actual cave where Mary was supposed to have lived. The only good thing is that they have actually kept the cave as it may have been 2000 years ago. Out Of Town Guests. In 1941, the United States and Britain came together to form an historic agreement, the Atlantic Charter, that defined a common vision for the world.
