Andy enjoys using the iPad, but tends to drool on it a lot. I have to be right with him keeping it dry when he's using it. He can also close out the apps and doesn't know how to open them back up, so that can make him mad. I take Andy to a rehabilitation center for private physical therapy. Taking it Day by Day with Developmental Delays (and Autism). My Letter to Special Needs Parents. Ipad and iphone for special needs. Friday, May 3, 2013. Surviving the Stomach flu. My daughter got the stomach flu two weeks ago, most likely the rotavirus. It struck without warning. We were driving in my mini-van and she told me she felt like she might throw up. I quickly moved a few things out of her way, tried to find a bag for her, and too late. She threw up three times, mostly on her lap. My son is extr...

Taking it Day by Day with Developmental Delays (and Autism). My Letter to Special Needs Parents. Ipad and iphone for special needs. Monday, July 20, 2015. Andy is going under anesthesia tomorrow to remove a suspicious mole. It is most likely a benign cyst, but it must be removed to be certain. The mole may also be irritating him, so it seems best to have it removed. I am feeling a bit anxious tonight about it, but I think it will all go really well. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Taking it Day by Day with Developmental Delays (and Autism). My Letter to Special Needs Parents. Ipad and iphone for special needs. Monday, April 20, 2015. Trying to find SXI programming. Some programs offer 205 or more days, which takes the kids through the summer, without more than a two week break. We have already spent a few years under the false unders...

Taking it Day by Day with Developmental Delays (and Autism): What to do if you drop your iphone in water

Taking it Day by Day with Developmental Delays (and Autism). My Letter to Special Needs Parents. Ipad and iphone for special needs. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. What to do if you drop your iphone in water. You have to fully submerge the phone in dry uncooked rice in a plastic baggie to suck out the moisture from the phone. We let the phone sit for 24 hours. But later found this wasn't enough time, so the phone went back into the bag to sit at room temperature for a few more days. PS I dropped my phone in wate...
