Cyprus isn't exactly known for its big ski mountains, but surprisingly, the tippy top of one mountain does have real snow and a semi-real ski slope. Jen's blog: adventures in cyprus, greece, and elsewhere. Monday, February 5, 2007. OK, now on to what is really on my mind and what has been the only thing on my mind for several days now. First, to start with a timeline…. September: I applied for a job at the Unit for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Torture. November: I applied for a job at USAID. Later in November: I got the job at URVT (and went to Athens for training, etc. If you read my blogs, you know all this). Jan 31: USAID offered me the job.

The Pophen News Bulletin. Mandag 16. februar 2009. We have had an enormous amount of snow this year. It's been snowing almost daily and the whole city is a winter wonderland. You can see the view of our balcony and our street. In addition, we have gained three hours of daylight since Christmas, which is very good for the soul.
