The Day of Small Things. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Why is that one fish out in front of the others? Think of an explanation before you read the rest of this post. The point of the study was to show how certain thought patterns and perspectives can be tied to a particular culture, and that individuals who identify with more than one culture may change how they perceive the world around them based on which culture they are identifying with at a particular time (or in a particular context).

The Day of Small Things: Adventures

The Day of Small Things. Saturday, February 19, 2011. We went on a hike, and checked out the beach at Torrey Pines State Reserve. It was so wonderful to see a bit more of San Diego, to get out and move, and to enjoy the beauty of God's creation (we saw some very playful dolphins, and are 99% sure we saw a whale spouting.).
