http://disparteparty.blogspot.com/2015/03/youve-had-birthday-shout-hooray.html
Sunday, March 22, 2015. You've had a birthday, shout Hooray! We met Grandma Carol at Disneyland to celebrate! She got them each a personalized hat of their choice. We all love the Soundsational Parade.and everything else at Disneyland! It was great way to celebrate. To celebrate at home, Cait and Nate had fun helping me decorate the dining room. Cait and Nate knocked themselves out with candy decorating. Quinn wanted to enjoy the cake all by itself. I had fun too! He wouldn't go back to sleep until I pro...

The Disparte Party!: January 2013
http://disparteparty.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 24, 2013. Notice the lovely little rat tail shining in the sun. :). I had heard so many horror stories about little kid haircuts that I put off cutting his hair for a loooong time. We did several bang trims and I did cut off his little rat tail while he was in the bath one night, but we didn't bust out the clippers until a couple weeks ago. It was a smooth and pleasant experience for all involved! Next up - Before:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). We're a party of five, lovin' San Diego!

The Disparte Party!: August 2012
http://disparteparty.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Summer is birthday season around here, with Nathan in June and Caitlyn in August. We were visiting my parents in July so we had a little combined family party for both of them, which was fun. Caitlyn wanted a ladybug cake and I wanted to make a puppy cake for Nathan since he loves dogs (I'm pretty sure his first word was "Dah! Here were the results. I thought that would be good for birthday season. But then.we went to a birthday party at a pool for one of Caitlyn's littl...She e...

The Disparte Party!: April 2013
http://disparteparty.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 24, 2013. The Birth of Baby Number Three. Yes, it's been 7 weeks, but better late than never right? The receptionist at his pediatrician's office said, "That's a good strong name.". 6 lbs, 10 oz, 19 1/2 inches. The few things about the first two births that I hoped to have happen differently this time around went perfectly. It was such a peaceful, calm atmosphere to labor and birth in. I LOVED giving birth at a Birth Center. Caitlyn and Nathan looooooove the baby. Subscribe to: Posts (At...

The Disparte Party!: November 2013
http://disparteparty.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 18, 2013. I'm a witch-ch-ch, I'm a witch-ch-ch, with a pointed hat on my head. Did anyone else love singing that song in elementary school? We had a blast this Halloween, and waaaaay too much candy. First we went to a trunk-or-treat at Caitlyn's school the Thursday before and made a haul. Then we went trick-or-treating at Seaworld the Saturday before and made another haul. (Have I ever mentioned how much we love and adore Seaworld? Whenever I want to.). Halloween decor. It was amazing.

The Disparte Party!: July 2013
http://disparteparty.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 5, 2013. Tara, your text requesting some pics of our family motivated me to open up our blog page for the second time in like 7 months. Wow! We'll do a preschool theme.and a couple other posts. We've started a preschool where I stay and help run learning stations and siblings come too. It's so fun! Nathan loves it as much as Caitlyn and it's great for him to already be getting the preschool structure and doing the crafts and projects. He ends up looking like Yoda in your jacket while you wal...

The Disparte Party!: December 2012
http://disparteparty.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 4, 2012. This is kind of old news now, but I wanted to put these pictures in just so I have them somewhere more permanent than my camera. The x-rays showed that both bones in his forearm were broken at the wrist - poor little guy! So Dr Holmes (Oh, how we love Dr. Holmes! Put a cast on and all was well. The store doesn't end there! Wrist This time Quinn went ahead and just took him to urgent care, and sure enough his left wrist was broken and they put it in a splint. Oh So Savvy Mom.

The Disparte Party!: First Day of School!!
http://disparteparty.blogspot.com/2014/09/first-day-of-school.html
Tuesday, September 9, 2014. First Day of School! My baby is in Kindergarten. It's hard to believe. Yesterday was her first day at the most awesome school ever! She's had some bad experiences with school in the past, so I was determined to find a school that would be perfect for her. When I took her to visit this school and meet the teacher, I asked her afterward what she thought and she said, "I finally found the school I love! She was super duper excited for her first day. The Disparte Party!: Thanksgiving 2014
http://disparteparty.blogspot.com/2015/03/thanksgiving-2014.html
Sunday, March 1, 2015. We had a super fun trip to Utah for Thanksgiving! We left at 2am both directions so the drives were not even too bad since the kids slept most of the time (although it took Quinn and I a couple of weeks after the trip to catch up on the lost sleep). My mom made and decorated sugar cookies with the kids. Nathan rode up and down the sidewalk on a scooter at Tanya's in-laws and our friends the Fieldings for probably over an hour straight. And we even stopped by the BYU Creamery for ol...

The Disparte Party!: August 2014
http://disparteparty.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 2, 2014. When daddy takes the kids to Costco. They come back with an Elsa costume and a Spiderman costume, and they are the happiest kids alive. Then Caitlyn gets out the fan and stands in front of it so her dress blows in the wind for real just like Elsa. Then Nathan adds his super hero cape to his costume so he can stand in front of the fan too. Then Caitlyn shows off her most dramatic Elsa face. No wonder he was so grumpy!
