I was perusing around the interwebs a couple of days ago and came across a wonderful tutorial for making a wreath, at the red thread. Needing a few more Christmas Presents I decided to give it a try. Here's my finished project:. They were so easy to make! The entire process took about an hour and a half. the longest step was choosing which papers to use! Lisa : the red thread. I would like to hand make as many of my gifts as possible this year, but I am having a hard time deciding what to do. I want each item I make to be perfect, something they will love and cherish. but not something that necessarily looks handmade. We look so young. and thin! Off to find my muse. A look thru my lens.

I would be remiss if I just plunged into a post without mentioning my extreme lapse between the last one and now. Truthfully, I have no reason. I allowed life to get in the way of my recording it. And to complete the vicious cycle I felt as though I was failing by not recording it. So the end result is this: I haven't even logged into Blogger in 5 months. Almost half a year gone!
