Thursday, September 25, 2008. I felt the same way about the movie "Once"- about a street musician and the woman he meets who collaborates with him in writing and recording songs. I cried through 3/4ths of the movie just because it portrayed the passion they had for the creative process. Making music moved them- not all the illusive stuff that might result from that- like fame and fortune. It knocked me down and left me skewered through and through. Tuesday, September 23, 2008. All work and no play. Saturday, November 20, 2010 - Posted by Regina Richards - 9 comments. Last weekend I went on a retreat that really got my juices flowing again. It was the perfect combination of time to socialize with my fellow writers (amazingly intellegent, witty, and wise folks) and time to work in a visually soothing and blessedly uninterrupted environment. I came home Sunday evening from the retreat ready to work. And work I have! Do you ever find you've temporarily written yourself out?

So while up to this point maintaining three blogs has been fairly easy, I fear that adding Twitter and eventually Facebook to the mix may be pushing things. After all, I still need to write novels and my family expects cooking, cleaning and other maid services to continue uninterrupted. For at least the next few weeks.

Frozen Protein Pudding Pops. 1 package jello instant pudding power ( sugar and fat free ). 2 cups skim milk ( I used one cup skim milk and one cup of unsweetened almond milk ). 1-1/2 scoops chocolate protein powder. Blend the above in a magic bullet or blender and pour into popsicle molds. This will make 12 delicious frozen pudding pops! There are approx. 50 calories per treat. No-Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bars. 1 cup of peanut butter. 1 cup of honey (or 1/2 cup honey and 1/2 cup sugar free syrup).

Cook and eat better. Re-institute the cleaning plan. Work on my writing career- such as it is. Reduce body fat and maintain current weight. Take dance lessons with DH. Take ballet and/or ice skating lessons. Attend more STARS games. Let the thermostat wars begin. Hockey IS just a game. The clock starts ticking at 5PM.
