A Change in Direction. Life lately is full of change. The moment that my husband and I have been waiting for all of our marriage is coming. He is finished with flight school, completed the FRS, and is getting ready to join a squadron. I am so proud of my helicopter pilot. We have a sweet little girl on the way, coming oh so soon! I have been planning this little girls nursery for awhile now and I think things are finally starting to come together. Topsail Blue walls from Sherwin Williams, really light aqua, with coral and pink accents and white twinkly lights and a white crib. I am so excited! Here are a few things that I have been collecting and making for her. Also, I have a pin board. Started that I am over the moon for. Sunday, March 11, 2012. Take My Breath Away. Wow, 2012 is really sticking it to us so far! January Matt tore his ACL, February he had surgery on it and is off of work for a while. while recovering he and I both got sick. He eventually got better and mine did not. Which brings us to March where I got hospitalized for asthma! It's been no fun - at all! Hopefully, we can find our creative juices and have some fun during Spring Break! I'm so thankful to have such thoughtful and caring people in my life!

Thursday, May 31, 2012. School's Out For Summer! I know it's been a long time since I've posted - sorry! In the meantime, today is the last day of school! Gracie is excited which is weird because she loves school. But I guess she's like the rest of us and is ready for a break. She had a great year this year. Her teacher Mrs. Dickson was amazing and we're glad we'll have her again next year! Here are some pictures of the going ons of the end of the year. BES Life Skills class! Gracie will miss him!

Monday, July 16, 2012. The boy turned 5! Well, my baby turned 5 yesterday! It is crazy how fast this kid has grown. I vaguely remember him being a baby. Since he was born (a month early) he's been growing and developing so fast that I feel like I hardly got a chance to hold him! He's such an independent little kid. Saturday, June 30, 2012. Well, summer has been off to a pretty good start. The kids went to church camp for a week while Matt had his 3rd and hopefully final knee surgery. His recovery is going great and we hope this one will stick! God has been so good to us in helping us manage all of these medical bills with our limited funds. We're so blessed! Fridays in the woods. The excitement for Friday starts on Tuesday in our house. When we are in town, Friday nights begin with sweatpants and slippers. You already want to join us,. The rest is a flurry of homemade pizza, couch snuggling, movie watching and occasional adult beverages. Then it usually ends with one of us asleep on the couch. Guess who.
