Year in Review 2014. I know these posts are. 2014, but I started writing it in December so I may as well post it. I thought it would be fun to look back on 2014 and do a photography-related Year in Review, from my job and my personal life. A few notable things from 2014:. I sustained a pretty serious concussion in March, so that put a damper on… well, everything. (And I’m still dealing with post-concussion syndrome 9 months later! And had my best sales year in stock photography since I started in 2009!

Make no mistake, this is a hard edge cocktail but it’s subtle undertones of apple, honey and saffron add the allure of a feminine touch. The orange peel garnish is another variation and completely optional. In the winter and especially around Christmas, I like the flavour an orange peel provides in my drink and if you wanted to go all out for your party, you could flame it as directed below. 1/2 oz Yellow Chartreuse.

Parmesan and Thyme Crisps. Chx and Sausage Etouffee. Spinach and Pancetta Halibut. 4 oz (115 g) 70% cacao chocolate. 1/2 Tbs. (7 g) butter. 1 oz (30 mL) heavy cream. 2 large egg yolks. 2-3 large egg whites. A dash (1/16 tsp.) cream of tartar. 1/6 cup (35 g) sugar. Melt Chocolate, butter, and heavy cream in a double boilder. Whisk in 2 large egg yolks. Whisk 2-3 large egg white and a dash of crean of tartar to soft peaks then add 1/6 cup of sugar. Fold egg whites into chocolate batter.

May 11, 2011. Only Took 11 Days . To truly miss St Croix. Sunday was non-stop - from church to brunch to car shopping to family dinner. It was so good to see so many friends my first day back! And the rest of the week was no exception. I spent Monday morning finalizing all of the details of my new Jeep (the "Mango Tango" - as much sadness as I had leaving my Jeep on the island, I have had NO regrets about selling it and buying a new one!
