Harvard takes a page from Biola University’s MOL | Falling Forward
https://jenhurst.wordpress.com/2011/12/05/harvard-takes-a-page-from-biola-universitys-mol
Thanks (but we don’t need your) giving. December 5, 2011 · 9:01 am. Harvard takes a page from Biola University’s MOL. It wasn’t long ago that I received an email from my alma mater, Biola University, about it’s Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MOL) program. With the new president’s vision came the announcement that the program would go by the wayside. Since I completed my MOL degree, I have often found myself answering the question: “What is that? 8220;The Economist” reported this week. The s...

You know what my Father is doing. . . Eggs Scrambled with Others’ Thoughts →. May 19, 2010 · 2:14 pm. 1 Follow God’s guidance. There are seasons to everything in our lives. As you see the end or beginning of a season approaching, make sure to spend ample time in prayer to see where the Lord is guiding you and your group. 2 Look at the health and motivation of your group. Ask God to give you a clear picture your group: Are they committed? Contributing to the group or taking a ‘free ride’? Many Small Group...

Newer posts →. May 17, 2010 · 2:06 pm. You know what my Father is doing. . . On the other side of the reaction was the number of people who inquired about hosting a Small Group. Instead of feeling intimidated by leading a group, they felt supported and equipped once they discovered what hosting meant. The job description was the same as that of a leader, but the volunteers had the chance to express interest and talk to staff about the details because we softened the language. Perfect Timing →. May 22, 2010 · 12:09 am. Eggs Scrambled with Others’ Thoughts. How would you like your eggs? Scrambled well. With brown on them. This conversation has played itself out more times than I can count. Usually when I answer the waitress’ question, she gives me a strange look. Brown on them? Okay It’s just the way I like my eggs. If they’re fluffy or even (horrors! Underdone, I can’t stand them. Which is why I always clarify my egg order with the waitress. For some of us, this is a good thin...

Let’s take a look at what blogging for me in 2018 looks like….because so far, it doesn’t. Document those things so why I am going to again? Caught up in the research trap/analysis paralysis as my co-worker called it once, that how is it helping me to awkwardly explain away things that I struggle with in such a check-list-y sort of way? 8216;look I did something! June 21, 2015. I have been attending this convention for a decade now, starting when I was in high school and when I was very much embarrassed of my love of animation (particularly Japanese animation). A couple of unfortunate instances with classmates made me hide it from most people. But at my first Anime NEXT. I distinctly remember being on my phone the first night, walking around the hotel lobby after things had quieted down, telling my mom how comfortable I felt, being surrounded by a proper. Headlin...

Short Stuff
Don’t Assume Anything. Over the weekend I worked overtime and was wearing a Cleveland Browns T-shirt to celebrate the start to football season. Naturally, since it was a t-shirt, it was not skin tight, which is how I like my t-shirts, they are just more comfortable that way. Unfortunately, for me it was baggy in the wrong places. A co-worker said “your stomach is sticking out, are you. Wow I know I have gained weight over the years. To become a healthier adult for good and when that special time comes of.

The right word may be effective, but no word was ever as effective as a rightly timed pause. If you pause to think, you'll have cause to Thank.". Life is short, God's way of encouraging a bit of focus. And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.
