Jen knows what's for DINNER!: About
http://jenknowswhatsfordinner.blogspot.com/p/about.html
I start thinking about what's for dinner when I wake up. I think about it all day. I look forward to the moment I will walk in the door and start cooking in the evening. So here’s the deal: I'M NOT A RECIPE FOLLOWER. I don’t think there is one EXACT way to cook everything. Besides how often do you have all the required ingredients, equipment and time? So why not improvise? I like to use recipes as inspiration and then take it from there. Does that mean a dry rub and a wet sauce for basting? Is that a v.
Jen knows what's for DINNER!: Buffalo Shrimp Pizza
http://jenknowswhatsfordinner.blogspot.com/2012/03/buffalo-shrimp-pizza.html
Tuesday, March 20, 2012. So the other day on the Today Show. Martha Stewart made these Buffalo Shrimp, they looked super tasty. I had this idea to turn it into a pizza. Spicy shrimp with blue cheese, all on top of my favorite pizza dough. Sounds weird, well it was pretty tasty. Here's how to make it. 12 U-15 shrimp, shelled and deveined. 1/4 cup of a BBQ spice rub (I mixed paprika with cayenne, salt, pepper, sugar). 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella. 1/2 cup sliced Point Reyes Blue Cheese. 1 T olive oil.

To Protect the Innocent
To Protect the Innocent. The little things that amuze me. Saturday, August 19, 2006. Twice in a week.wow. My turn to be vague:) I also am in the crazy limbo right now. I know fivethings for sure. 1) I am not happy with my job. 2) I need to get back to school to get my masters. 3) I can not do that while living in Marion. 4) I have finally realized that the way my life has been going, is not the path I want my life to go. 5)A plan has been plotted to correct the above mentioned items. So what to do next?

Jen knows what's for DINNER!
Tuesday, May 15, 2012. ABYC Opening Day Party! I catered the Yacht Club's Opening Day party for 200. Here's how it looked:. Links to this post. Tuesday, April 3, 2012. THESE WERE SO GOOD! 160; I made them for a catering event and I think all 20 people were in heaven. The thing I like about pulled pork is when you have the rich, saucy, sweet and slightly spicy, delicious pork meat piled high with a cool, crisp, tangy slaw. What a tasty combo! 160; And dont be blase about the bun! Links to this post.
Literary Exhibitionism
Lists and links and interviews. Saturday, February 17, 2018. I spent a bit of January in San Francisco, San Jose, and Sunnyvale. The rest of the month was a blur of snow, work, family, and writing. In that order, unfortunately. Nonetheless, I learned and/or observed in January/early Feb:. Silicon Valley is full of contradictions. And super nice bathrooms. The value of visual art is at least 50% backstory. You never know who you're talking to. When partying with rich people, go for the second glass of wine.
