Thursday, March 3, 2011. January was full of fun! We managed to navigate through the mountains of snow to visit the Atlantis Aquarium in Riverhead with Big Papa and even headed up to the Bronx for a fun afternoon of food and friends with the Taboas family! We also cheered on the NY Jets hoping that they would make it to the Superbowl. Unfortunately, they lost to the Steelers but Daddy and Michael looked good sporting their Jets attire! A few more pictures can be found here. Michael is ready for the game.

Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Two weeks ago Mary Pat started swimming lessons! She loves the water and has been doing great in the classes with Daddy. Most of the kids in the class are older (2-3) except for Mary Pat and a six month old little boy. She is one of the only ones who doesn't cry at all! So far her favorite things are kicking her feet while on her back, watching Daddy blow bubbles (and trying to blow some of her own), and staring at all of the other kids of course! Practicing her "pull" stroke.

Monday, February 21, 2011. The "Snowpocalpyse" in SC! While we were in SC after the new year, Spartanburg got a major snowstorm! There was about 7-9 inches of snow and some ice which is HUGE for Spartanburg and made for a great time. Both Mary Pat and Victoria could hardly wait to get out and play in the snow and Aunt Shawnie even walked from her apartment (it took her 30 minutes or so) just to play with them! Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Last week, Nana sent Mary Pat a package that included some of big cousin Victoria's sunglasses. Well, Mary Pat could not try each pair on fast enough. She loved wearing the sunglasses and even gave me a few cheesy smiles when I took a picture! I think she's ready to lounge by the pool this summer. Shannon and Chuck Kolenik.
