London yoga newbie, trying to grow my tree. Happiness is just a chant away. There’s no place like Om. Lesson six: getting the hang of tree pose. I can’t lift my leg from the back to the front of the mat in a smooth move. My three legged dog doesn’t stand up properly. My twisted chair has wonky legs and an unsteady seat. My plank ain’t very straight or very high…. However, I do really feel like I’m learning a lot, getting better balance and getting some calm and focus. September 2, 2015. Yoga home, n16.

It was a tricky day at work, but instead of having a large glass of white wine, when I got home I changed clothes and took myself for a run in the park – before my conscious mind had clocked what was happening. Saturday class at yoga home in Stoke Newington, a peaceful class with some challenging moves and poses. Kept up as best I could, but needed a fair few rests in childs pose. He suggested we could dedicate the yoga practice to someone, so I changed my om to mum. Ill ask her if she felt any calmer or bendier that morning. This entry was posted in London Yoga blog. Meditation, peace, and the fresh air did me good. I had never yogaed before, but really enjoyed the experience. We were a small group, in a lovely setting, with great teachers and hosts. After the recommendation for tubes was given they told us it would be about a 4-6 wait for the surgery. We decided that since I was readily available since I was maternity leave that we would put our name on all three surgeons lists as well as the cancellation list, and after only a week and a half after our appointment we got the call about an opening for it to be done.
