The Joys Of Two Boys. Friday, November 16, 2012. It has been a month now. One month since we started encouraging Benjamin to abandon his thumb sucking habit. I think I can officially say we have achieved success! I am so proud of him. He never put up a fight and was self motivated to do it. 1 Band-aid on the thumb. Life of the Lucky Lindy's. Babies, Bassets and Bogeys. 8220;Solid” food. February 23, 2014. Alyssa had her first “solid” food yesterday. I don’t know if pureed banana should really be considered “solid”. Maybe I should say she had her first food experience instead. Enjoying the spoon more than the bananas. Monday, May 10, 2010. These Feet were Made for Walkin'. Alexa has started to take a few steps on her own now. She usually goes about 5 or 6 steps between Mom and Dad. I have a feeling it won't be long until she is all over the house! Another one of her new "tricks" is climbing up a full flight of stairs.
