Life and it's happenings...: September 2008
http://aubreysadventures.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Wow Week four of school has started, which means I've been in the country for six weeks? Amazing how time flies, especially when you are a bit more familiar with things. For all of you keeping count of my number of students, I have nine now. All of whom are girls! I have been praying for 80 students since spring of last year even though the school goal is for at least 50. I thought, "Why not go big and pray boldly? Thankfully I have a maximum of 15. But, the thought gave all the staff a good chuckle.

Thank you again for your encouragement and prayers! Just taking a moment to say that my grandfather has arrived in one piece and I will try to send him back that way. (wink*wink). Well, hello all-. Please accept my dearest apologies for the lack of postings recently. I have been so busy having such a great time, I haven't taken the time to share it, except with a few family members I try to check in with now and then. Now, off to live some more:). Life and it's happenings...: Skiing
http://aubreysadventures.blogspot.com/2010/01/skiing.html
Yesterday my sister and brother-in-law and I made our way up to Hoodoo to go night skiing. Yes, you heard correctly. I never knew night skiing existed and was somewhat leery of the experience, but my desire to get in at least one skiing day this winter won out. The runs were quite a bit shorter than I had done before and I have to tell you it's kind of nice to go down a hill that's not quite as steep as the Alps. I didn't fall down a single time! Sunday, October 11, 2009. We got to meet our new niece/cousin Izabella. She's adorable and Ellen loved that there's another cousin! Ellen is already able to pronounce her name (Izzie) which is good considering that she calls herself "Eye-Nah." Next summer the whole family will get together again and there will be a total of 6 grandkids running around. 4 girls, 1 boy and 1 to be determined. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
