Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Fiesta Chicken Burritos. or my take on them. I found this in an old magazine and Keaton, my husband, said it's an 8. and an 8 means it can be eaten once a week! WOOT WOOT for a good one! Yes those are sword toothpicks! I filled the tortillas too full and they wouldn't do what I wanted sooooo. AND we eat on the coffee table- yes, EVERY meal). 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts. 1 can (15 1/2 oz) whole kernel corn, drained. 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed.

Throw one on the shower drain and stand in a shower as hot as you could stand it for 15 minutes. and man did they work! Wednesday, February 1, 2012. B is for Bilirubin. We were released from the hospital on Friday afternoon (01/20/12). Here are a couple of shots of us getting ready to leave the hospital. My little yellow baby before heading to the doctor:. We waited 6 hours and Russell and I savored every moment of getting to hold our baby girl again - I don't think we sat her down at all during those 6 hours! What great news - her body was now processing the bilirubin like it should be! Modern medicine is truly amazing!

Saturday, September 11, 2010. B is for Bittersweet. Well, today marks a day in history that Americans will never forget. It's hard to believe that was 9 years ago. The happenings of that day are still very vivid in my mind. Instead of everyone going in 10 different directions, we spent our entire weekend as a family in one big room watching old home movies (which were hilarious by the way), playing games, and visiting and laughing together - all 20 or so of us. Saturday, November 6, 2010. B is for Boo! Happy Halloween from the Bishops! We also baked and decorated halloween cookies.YUMMY! Jathan's daycare had a small fall festival and halloween party on Friday. I was sad that I didn't get to go this year. That's the first activity I've missed since he's been in daycare. :-( I think he had fun though! He came home with lots of goodies. Isn't he the CUTEST little Spiderman you've ever seen? Tuesday, May 10, 2011. B is for BAHAHAHAHAHAHA. So I'm almost literally rolling in the floor laughing. Jathan starts running around the living room a couple of minutes ago and starts loudly yelling "I found my nuts! I found my nuts! Over and over and over. I looked at Russell with this "OMG did he just say what I thought he said? Look Russell died laughing. I was absolutely mortified and wondered where in the world he had learned about that! It for sure wasn't something we had discussed at this point!

Tuesday, October 26, 2010. B is for Belicious. Jathan was playing with his frisbee in the living room floor tonight pretending it was a plate of food - the food being the letters from his foam alphabet puzzle. He held the plate to his mouth and slurped (a very dramatic slurp, I might add). He pulled the frisbee back away from his face and said "Mmmm, Mommy. That's beeelicious! Cutest.thing.EVER. It amazes me how much kids learn that you don't even realize you're teaching! While waving his arms in the air!

The ultrasound tech finished the ultrasound of both kidneys and was about to scan the bladder. She asked when we got to see the baby next. I told her we had the sonogram scheduled for next week. Our lives are about to change. Sunday, September 9, 2012. Even though my belly is getting larger, and my appetite is substantially bigger, somehow this still doesn't feel real.
