Opening her presents, with a lot of "help" from her friends. Last year, she wanted to stop and play with each gift. This year, she wanted to open them all up as quickly as possible, throwing each one aside after barely looking at it! Ruby had the most perfect cake- pink with a horse on it! Thanks to her godmother, Donna, for getting it for her.

We've recently moved the cage into the kids' bedroom, which I've read that you're not. Supposed to do, but it's definitely working for us. Ruby is able to pay a lot more attention to him and spends a lot more time holding him. He's still not the most affectionate guinea pig (is there such a thing?
