Just a lone mermaid, swimming in the sea. Wednesday, April 25, 2012. The Disappointment of Bees. Tonight I went on a walk, where I met lots of little flowers on trees. It set me thinking about how disappointing it might be to be a bee drawn in to a flower. The flower pulls the bee in, quite strongly. It gets excited and thinks the source of the smell must be a delightful permanant home just waiting for it, if it's going to have such a strong pull. Okay and a few other things ;0). Sunday, May 30, 2010. Assateague Island-known for it's wild horses (near Ocean City). This was probably the most spontaneous trip we've taken. By 2pm we decided to go camping at Assateague and by 2:30 we were packed and out the door. Check out the deer near our tent! Minutes after this photo was taken I learned that it's illegal to touch the wild horses and if caught there's a pretty hefty fine. Oops! The famous homemade icecream Dumser's Shakes. Check out the still shot of beautiful wild horse galloping.

Tuesday, December 29, 2009. We spent Christmas Eve in San Clemente. Our poor family was kind enough to wait until we arrived before they began eating. Our flight was delayed a few hours- our pilot was a little confused and boarded the wrong plane- a few hours later he found his plane and we were on the runway. We finally ate dinner around 9pm.
