Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Ben's Instagram Oct. - Dec. 2013. It's just a dissertation, the culmination of 5 years of hard work. Who needs upper case Bs and lower case Gs in the titles and headings? Trip to Wisconsin for apple picking.found some amazing doughnuts. Sam, what are you doing up there? Oh, I'm just having my after-snack treat.". When your bag of candy is so heavy that your dad has to carry it, it's time to call it quits. 5th trip to California this year, not counting 2 layovers. One of the be...

Jenn and Ben: January 2014

http://www.jennandben.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html

Monday, January 27, 2014. Over the Rainbow Café. Theme They wanted to also have a "café" with Wizard of Oz. Themed treats, but they weren't sure if they could pull it all off. Themed treats? Apparently I have a weak spot for stuff like that. I'm not usually tempted to volunteer for boring PTA assignments, but this one got me. And with no further explanation, I bring you . . . The Over the Rainbow Café! I made 150 of them. Here they are all packaged up! This was the entrance they made for my café. As you ...

Monday, July 27, 2015. Family Night in the City. This is my friend Kelley Larsen. I really love her for many reasons. She is happy, inspiring, and energetic. She makes me want to be a better person every time I'm around her. And she comes up with great ideas for fun things to do on the spur of the moment. On this particular summer night, Kelley wanted to take the kids downtown and have family home evening (family away evening? Then we had a little talent show! There were jokes,. Sam was in heaven! Jenn and Ben: Girls' night

http://www.jennandben.blogspot.com/2015/06/girls-night.html

Sunday, June 21, 2015. The worst part about living here is that just when you get to love someone, they announce that they are moving! The best part of that scenario is that we get to have some fun girls' nights. This was the perfect girls' night ever - as we said goodbye to Caitlin and rode bikes on the lakefront and then got Molly's Cupcakes. We were kind of a spectacle. :). The Ivy League: 26 March, 2011 Disneyland Castle or the Axeman!

http://nedandlinda.blogspot.com/2011/03/26-march-2011-disneyland-castle-or.html

Thursday, March 31, 2011. 26 March, 2011 Disneyland Castle or the Axeman! Huntingtower Castle is a prime example, and we have seen others, of the importance of picking the winner in a fight if you are going to be involved. Of course, if the decision as to which side you will support is based on ideological grounds, you don't have much choice. You just do it. Perhaps, do and die. As several of the Earls were involved in conflicts, including that of the American War for Independence. Throughout the cas...

These Are Days: Almond-Orange Shortbread

http://jesskern.blogspot.com/2008/04/almond-orange-shortbread.html

Monday, April 7, 2008. I made these for book club a couple of weeks ago (we read Austenland. And I wanted something British-y). They are delicious and just might be my new favorite non-chocolate cookie. The original recipe comes from Everyday Food Magazine. 1 cup (2 sticks) butter. 1 cup confectioners' sugar. 3/4 teaspoon almond extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. Grated zest of 1 orange (about 2 teaspoons). 3/4 cup sliced almonds. I just might have to give this recipe a try. Sounds so good. April 8, 2008...

Harvey Happenings: Barton Creek West Barracudas

http://texasharvey4.blogspot.com/2015/06/barton-creek-west-barracudas.html

Thursday, June 25, 2015. Barton Creek West Barracudas. Swim team this year was a little crazy with all the rain. Two meets were cancelled and a bunch of practices. But we still had a fun year and both Matthias and Hannah did great. James of course broke his arm and so he took the year off which he was wanting to do anyway. Win-win. Or maybe lose-win. Conan, Sierra, Tennyson, Asher and Eden. Saturday, June 7, 2014. As you can tell, I am slowly but surely trying to catch up on my blog! We celebrated our last Christmas here in Boston and boy was it a fun one! Eden with her sugar cookies. We made sugar cookies.a family tradition. As usual, I am pretty sure more candy made it's way into their tummies than onto the actual cookie! Asher left this note for Santa next to some milk and cookies. Santa brought Tennyson the coveted 'Rainbow Loom'. Digital camera&...

Harvey Happenings: Grace Arwen

http://texasharvey4.blogspot.com/2015/07/grace-arwen.html

Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Grace was born July 8, 2015 at 3:03 am. She was 9 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches long. Labor was long and hard. First six hours really random contractions and still not sure if true labor. Last six hours very rough, back labor, and just hard. She wasn't breathing on her own when she came out so needed some resuscitation. Very scary moment but she perked right up and is doing great. So happy she is here with us now. We have been excited for our baby Grace to join our family.

Harvey Happenings: August 2014

http://texasharvey4.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html

Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Singapore Airport to Korea. We got to the airport a couple hours early so we could wander around some. The Singapore airport has some really neat stuff.gardens, activities, playgrounds, etc. The kids had a great time running around past bed time. Then a horrible red eye flight to Korea. They kept trying to feed us. They seriously kept asking if we wanted food and I kept saying hello it's one in the morning we want you to turn off the lights. I was pretty crabby. Monday morning w...

A Colorado girl's taste for beer and her adventures as she learns more about it. Monday, April 19, 2010. Jenn and Beer has officially moved! Check out the new digs at www.jennandbeer.com. Wednesday, April 14, 2010. So, when AC Golden Brewing. Released their Colorado Native. Lager, I was ready to judge. I, of course, support the idea of locally grown ingredients – the premise behind it is to lower the carbon footprint of the beer. And Colorado Native is only available in, well, Colorado. Jenn and Ben Go North. Wow it has been over six months since my last post and well, that's because Jenn and Ben went back South! Yup, after almost three marvelous years in Calgary, we decided to move back home to Nashville. Jenn and Bob are Officially Fall Risks

Jenn and Bob are Officially Fall Risks. There is probably not any porn here. Probably. Me: Hey buddy, what’s your name? My son: Ryan the Puckett! Apparently we are our own species now. I’m really not as fat as I used to be. It’s amazing what happens when you stop jamming food in your face when you don’t need it. When I get down to 200 I think I might get myself a tattoo. A sick tattoo of something radical. We’re still awesome. All you need to know about this picture is that it was awesome.
