And Then There Were 2! I can't remember a time I didn't want to be a mother. I waited to meet the man who would love me forever and be a father to my children. At 39, he hadn't arrived. I knew I was meant to be someone's mom, so my life plan changed. At 41, I got pregnant on my first try with home insemination! Nine months later, my beautiful boy, Tate arrived! Monday, August 10, 2015. These Are the Days. I flipped through my Instagram feed early this morning and my heart sank a little. These days are so quickly becoming years…and I haven't done as good a job documenting as I'd like. Marathon that 26.2 miles for those of you who don't know, she did it in 4 hrs and 32 minutes, and she had a bad knee. When she was done I asked her if she was going to do it again, and she no never again, which is what she said after the first one. Then latter that day she was already planning for the next one.
