These facts were all found on www.skincancer.org, which I highly recommend that you check out! Survivors of melanoma are about 9x more likely to develop new melanoma than the general population. And I was so honored and excited to be a part of it! 1,822 of us! It was such an exciting and emotional day for me. I had blogged about my experience in a previous post. After teaching fitness classes yesterday, I noticed that there were quite a few people by the pool (we have a great outdoor pool that clients can use). They were tanning.
