Impressions from my world. Another Fun Summer for the History Books. Southbound: A Monosyllabic Passage →. August 26, 2011. Crazy ole Sun, look what you’ve done. Dried up our crop, turned rivers to sop. Set fires ablaze, left cows nil to graze. Made dogs seek shade, they no longer play. Blistered our skin even though we give in. Scorched the land with your unwieldy hand. Defeated the rain, we’re all in much pain. Few creatures on earth can handle your girth. We have no control over what you can smolder.
