Testing 1 2 3. Home, Sweet Home. July 5, 2012. I’ve had a week to enjoy the comforts of my hometown, which I had abandoned for four months. NoVa welcomed me home with a supposedly-impressive thunderstorm — which I, still a bit jet-lagged, slept through soundly — followed by widespread power outages. (My family was lucky; we were only out of power for about 24 hours.). Now that I’m settled in, enjoying the restored air-conditioning and happily munching on succulent blackberries from Arganica.
