Yessiree, we have a house (all financial rigmarole pending of course). We bid on a 1080 square foot house in SE Portland and this time the owners didn't change their minds. The life of a wife, mama and church planter. Spicy isn't so bad. I recently read this post. Well, skimmed it. In the bathroom. While avoiding laundry, a cluttered basement and dirty floors. (Just wanting to keep things real around here.). In three days my baby girl #1 starts preschool. Until a few days ago I was totally freaking out. Things were escalating as follows: Am I less of a mom because I'm not homeschooling her? Have I given her enough tools to handle the nitty gritty of a 4 year old social life?

Thursday, October 22, 2009. Why Church Is Important. The Bible talks a lot about the fellowship that we have with one another, encouraging. Us to love one another, share in each other's sufferings and rejoice in each other's. Triumphs. But Luke 17.1 tells us that it is impossible to never experience offenses. The truth is that whenever believers get close to each other there is going to be. Things that just "bugs" each other. Luke continues to say that when someone offends us, we are to forgive many, many.
