Jenni Byron takes on Australia! April 4-27, 2007. Thursday, April 5, 2007. 26 hours later, we safely arrived in Adelaide, Australia.half way around the world. Adelaide is a beautiful city on the South Ocean and my brother Mike lives in the foothills overlooking Adelaide, with a view of the ocean from his veranda. Not even 5 minutes after our arrival we were quickly called to garden to see a Koala Bear and her baby napping in a tree in the back yard.unbelieveable! April 6, 2007 at 9:50 AM.

Jenni Byron takes on Australia! April 4-27, 2007. Sunday, April 8, 2007. Easter Sunday at the Beach. Mom, Mike, Jenni and Cindy. Cindy and I with our nephew Joeseph. Our next venture was to spot our first Kangaroo. We are told they are everywhere, but we have yet to see one. They are very similar to deer in Wisconsin, they come out in the late afternoon, just before the sun sets. The countryside is so beautiful near the ocean, with lots of hills and beautiful trees. The foothills overlooking Adelaide.
