From the Front Porch. Tuesday, August 1, 2017. July started with our trip to Texas. Daddy stayed home this year to work on a grant that was due that month. So, the littles and I flew down to meet Connor. They were great little travel buddies, and we had a fairly uneventful trip. We were VERY HAPPY to be reunited with Connor.boy, had we missed him! Parading it up for the 4th of July (on the 3rd, oddly! I'd like to do a little hunting in my parents' yard! Me and my mini-me! Hanging with the Garvey family!

From the Front Porch. Friday, May 16, 2014. Anyway, I just wanted to remember this milestone my little guy is tackling very well! Links to this post. How, oh how, has it been two weeks already? On one hand, I can hardly remember life without little Miss Abby, but on the other hand, it feels like we were just checking into the hospital! I just asked Connor if he remembers life before his sister. He said yes, and I asked him how things were different. His response? Sharing his "people" with his sister.

She helped me ease back into things today, and was a great assistant. (And by "great assistant" I mean she took a long nap this morning, then another one when I had a conference call.
