Monday, November 16, 2009. I loved having Halloween on a Saturday. There are always so many festivities, it was nice to have a few of them finished, and have all day to take our time having fun. We made it to our Ward Halloween party and to the Bloomba party on Saturday morning. Emmie was a ballerina, Weston was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. Tuesday, July 6, 2010. We started out Independence Day weekend with a Bike Parade at the church. There were carnival games, breakfast, and the kids got to decorate their bikes. Then we went to Gering for the best fireworks show. Tanner and Courtney below. Emmie's first sparkler, and sporting "shoes by courtney". Aunt Krista lighting sparklers. Emmie, Savannah, Morgan and Batman playing in the back yard. Waiting for Shrek to start at the drive-in. At the Jackson's pool with the Bairds and the Vincents.

Saturday, April 17, 2010. Happy Birthday Emmerson Kate! Shaun made her a Willy Wonka chocolate bar cake, combining two of her favorite things - chocolate and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The result was a success. Shaun had his school Film Festival at the Carmike theater this morning. Weston, Emmie and I made it in time to watch Weston's movie - Peanut Butter Trouble. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. It started snowing this morning, and still hasn't stopped. Shaun had a snow day from school, so playing outside, homemade cookies and a fire were in order. Daddy teaching Emmie and Weston how to make snow balls. Shaun and Weston built a massive snow fort. I threw together some sugar cookie dough so we could frost Halloween cookies when everyone came inside, even though the snow made me want to make our winter-time gingersnap cookies.
