Her style is quite varied specialising in watercolour and acrylic as well as charcoal and pastel. Fter leaving college she became a freelance illustrator for a number of publishing companies before launching her range of illustrated cards depicting historical landmarks and landscapes. Art Classes for Autumn 2016. This is my portfolio. The client for this picture has this view at the bottom of their garden. My brief was to capture the scene on a typically summers day. Poppy Fields over to Scarborough. Poppies are always colourful and lively in a landscape and the red shapes of the flowers help to create perspective in the painting. Blackbirds in the Snow. Baking and Cooking are not really my passion but then baking comes naturally perhaps on seeing my mum bake those lovely cakes when i was a kid.
